Our collaborative work with industry and commerce focuses on the process areas manufacturing, filling and packaging foodstuffs - such as milk and dairy products, meat products and beverages. Online food sales and the effects of logistics and export conditions are also of particular interest. We are keen to share our expertise in optimising all quality and safety aspects of consumer goods with mainly small and medium-sized companies to drive forward joint research and development projects.

During their degree programmes, students in different faculties at Kempten University of Applied Sciences – mechanical engineering, computer science, business administration, for example – also contribute to our application-focused research projects.
