KLEVERTEC – TEAM

KLEVERTEC: COMPETENT. DYNAMIC. NETWORKED.

KLEVERTEC IS A RESEARCH INSTITUTE AT KEMPTEN UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES.

WE ARE COMPETENT.

Our collaborative work with industry and commerce focuses on the process areas manufacturing, filling and packaging foodstuffs - such as milk and dairy products, meat products and beverages. Online food sales and the effects of logistics and export conditions are also of particular interest. We are keen to share our expertise in optimising all quality and safety aspects of consumer goods with mainly small and medium-sized companies to drive forward joint research and development projects.

„I sincerely thank everyone who helped to make KLEVERTEC such a well-equipped institute!
Our diverse, committed and enthusiastic team covers a wide range of specialist disciplines.“ Professor Regina Schreiber, Dr.-Ing., Scientific Director

WE ARE DYNAMIC AND INTERDISCIPLINARY.

The way that foods and beverages are manufactured, filled and packaged has lasting effects on their properties. Our team of professors, scientific staff and students plough their combined experience into the centre of competence to facilitate the transfer of knowledge into the outside world.
The main beneficiaries are SMEs, whose expertise tends to focus on specific links in the value creation chain. By partnering up with KLEVERTEC, you can tap into the kinds of resources that will help you to drive forward your own projects and research plans. Larger companies could also benefit immensely from unleashing this enormous potential.
During their degree programmes, students in different faculties at Kempten University of Applied Sciences – mechanical engineering, computer science, business administration, for example – also contribute to our application-focused research projects. They are closely involved in all activities and receive hands-on training, whether during internships, working on projects, or while compiling their degree thesis.
